It’s a good idea to find a med spa that has an environment you’ll feel welcome and happy in, so you should ask about a med spa’s environment. The staff matter too because they’ll be the ones serving you. You may want pleasant and professional staff who are happy to serve, so you should ask about staff. Ask about services as well!

Some med spas may have mostly basic services like basic hair removal, simple peels, fillers, etc. Other med spas like ours will have services like full body contouring, laser hair removal, microneedling, and medical-grade peels. Certain med spas may even offer services like the O-Shot for women and the P-Shot for men.

If you’re not quite sure what treatment or service you’ll need, or if you want to know which treatments are safest and best for most people, you may want to ask about the most popular treatments. Botox is an example of a really popular treatment, and it’s so popular because it’s considered very safe and has so many different applications. It’s also common for people to get treatments like facials, microneedling, and hair removal. These treatments are just as popular, and you might want to know which med spas offer them.

Med spas typically have a qualified medical professional who either performs or supervises the treatments. You’ll just want to make sure the provider has one of these professionals. A family nurse practitioner, like Jen Bullock FNP here at Illume Aesthetics, is a qualified medical professional for a med spa like ours. She and her staff are more than capable of serving you.

The medical professional or another staff member should be able to help answer this question. A staff member might suggest a treatment like a facial if you want to cleanse, exfoliate, and nourish your skin, or the medical professional might suggest a treatment like microneedling if you want to treat wrinkles and scarring. Regardless, the person you speak with should be able to give you an idea of what service or services you’ll want!
