‘Vaginal Rejuvenation’ is an umbrella term that covers any procedure that changes the internal or external vaginal anatomy. More specifically, in the context of our Med Spa, vaginal rejuvenation is a minimally invasive, non-surgical procedure (e.g., laser) designed to decrease vaginal looseness by restoring collagen production within the tissues. Collagen is a protein that provides strength to many of our bones and muscles. Over time, the body’s natural collagen production decreases, which can lead to increased tissue elasticity, or ‘loosening’. Vaginal rejuvenation works by stimulating the body’s collagen production to tighten these tissues, specifically the vaginal canal, over time. There are many reasons that people may seek out vaginal rejuvenation, a few of which are listed below:

• Vaginal loosening due to pregnancy
• Age-related problems and/or hormonal effects
• Cosmetic reasons

More importantly, vaginal rejuvenation is a quick and effective way to restore vaginal tightness, with appointments only lasting 20-30 minutes, and some claiming to see immediate results. Vaginal rejuvenation even comes at little to no expense to your work and sex life, compared to more invasive, surgical, vaginal reconstructive procedures.

Yes, vaginal rejuvenation can significantly enhance vaginal structures. However, because collagen production takes time (approximately 6-8 months for full collagen to be produced), multiple treatments may be required to obtain the best results, with improvements continuing to be observed over time. Annual treatments may also be required to maintain long-term results. Like any procedure, results can differ across individuals. While the main aim of vaginal rejuvenation is to improve the physical properties of the vaginal area, there are many other benefits, such as an enhanced sex life and, indirectly, an overall boost in self-confidence and well-being.
